SJA BRITISH SPORTS JOURNALISM AWARDS

The SJA British Sports Journalism Awards honour the best in sports writing, photography and broadcasting. The event is the industry’s premier awards event, attended by over 600 guests including the biggest names in sports journalism.

​Start2Finish Events are commissioned by the SJA committee to manage all aspects of the event from facilitating the competition, collation of entries, overseeing the judging, venue sourcing, print and design, production of trophies, invitations, scripts, audio visual, budgets, transport, social media and event production.

Over the last 5 years of managing this event we have focussed on reaching new audiences in what is a fast-changing industry. Through strategically improving certain aspects of the event and communicating with key stakeholders we have increased the audience by 50% over this time period.

We are particularly proud of the social media activity that we produce for this event, we edit video clips on the night of the awards and produce various content around the awards event which for this year’s event lead to 2.29 million twitter impressions and 56 profile visits for the SJA twitter account,  all of which is great exposure for the association and the awards sponsors.
